The Portugal Digital Nomad Visa is issued to foreigners who work remotely. Freelancers,

employees of foreign companies, self-employed, and individual entrepreneurs can qualify.

Visa applications are accepted only from foreigners from non-EU and non-EEA countries.

Article 53 of Law No. 23/2007, dated 07/04/2007, provides the visa rules.
